MISSION CENTER PRESIDENCY
The Mission Center Presidency in the New England Mission Center (NEMC) has transitioned to a shared leadership model from the previous office held by one person. The new model presently consists of two self sustaining individuals who share the responsibilities of the Mission Center President.
Each member of the Presidency is currently assigned specific duties and functional assignments as well as some joint functional assignments.
They are:
Missy Quay:Administration/Mission - Functional Assignment: Campground Boards and Conferences
Sue O'Dell: Pastoral Support - Functional Assignment: Latter Day Seekers and Young Adult Ministries
Joint Functional Assignment: Reunions, Camps Retreats and Youth Ministries
MISSION CENTER FINANCIAL OFFICERS
The Mission Center Financial Officers have specific trustee responsibilities in which they are subject to the direction and counsel of the Presiding Bishopric. They are responsible for such trusteeship to the appropriate conference and to the presidency of the mission center according to the provisions of the related budget.
COUNSELORS
Counselors are chosen by the MCP to advise them in MCP matters.
MISSION CENTER COUNCIL
The Mission Center Council is an advisory body that will assist the Mission Center Leadership Team in the ongoing ministries and functions of the Mission Center. The Council will consist of the Mission Center Leadership Team and their Counselors, the Youth Leaders, the Young Adult Minister, the Pastors of each congregation, the Communications Coordinator and others as named by the MCP.
